Recognize and protect Copyright.
How Music Copyright Works
Music copyright is the exclusive right of the creator that arises automatically based on the declarative principle after a creation is manifested in a tangible form. Based on Law Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright and Government Regulation Number 56 of 2021 concerning the management of song copyright royalties, anyone who uses a work of creation is required to obtain permission from the Creator or Copyright Holder, and pay royalties for commercial use. WAMI is an association that manages the Announcement Rights for songs and compositions of its members.
